El Corte De Pelo (Spanish haircut)
|
This is a Spanish III class film. With help from ArcticHeat, Josh, Luis, and I developed this short story. We had Luis on the audio, Josh as the primary camera man, and I as the primary actor. Often, both Luis and I would give our input and ideas to establish shots. Josh then edited it purposefully giving it an awkward aura through angle choice, color correction, and music. I also accompanied Josh during the editing session and gave my input on how to revise some of the scenes.

Snoqualmie Valley's School's Foundation Promotion
For a luncheon, we the students of Mr. Dockery's Video Production class developed and created a promo to illuminate the results of the donations given to the School District. We as a class critiqued our own sections of the film. Starting at 1:58-3:35, Chris Sellers and I created. The pre-production that can be seen here. I helped film the B-Roll, students, and teacher. The editing was done by Chris, but I developed the pre-production, questions, and the shots. |

Deja Who?
|
This is a comedic narrative which I partook in with Josh and Luis. While sitting at Starbucks on an evening afternoon, we created the script of Deja Who. Ideas were thrown around and discussed; Josh, the director, would then include or reject the ideas from both Luis and I. The goal was to create an awkward, yet tranquil atmosphere. We hoped that it would incite some laughter from the audience. The production took three days. We spent approximately 4-8 hours each time. We dedicated day one for scene one, day two for scene two, and day three to get some extra shots from both scenes. And as a primary actor, I obtained experience in playing an apathetic individual.

Mountain Biking Montage
This is Chris's and my entry into the NWSFF. Inspired by many outdoor mountain bikers, we went out and attempted to create a mountain bike montage. With sharp music and plenty of B-Roll, this has become our product. I filmed Chris riding and obtained most of the B-Roll at one of the bike courses. This was primarily edited by Chris, but filmed by me. |

ASB Representative Speeches
|
This quarter we were also able to film the ASB speeches for the upcoming elections that are going to broadcasted to our school. Previously inexperienced in a studio environment, I learned many different elements. I learned the basics of the XA10 Camera. (I was previously inexperienced). I also gained experienced in how to properly set up in a studio. How to attach different materials to the camera and different lighting techniques that are available. |
